Welcome to Kids Rein, Therapeutic Horseback Riding for Children with Special Needs

Kids Rein is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that promotes the use of the horse for individuals with physical, emotional, and learning disabilities. We are proud to be a Center Member of PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, Int’l).

We offer a unique therapeutic horseback riding experience for individuals with varying disabilities.  Kids Rein specializes in early intervention techniques and offers Therapeutic Riding for children as young as 3 years old. We also offer Therapeutic Horseback Riding for adults with disabilities!!

Through the many years of working with different teaching methodologies and techniques, Founders Teressa and Phyllis have discovered various ways of working with children with different disabilities.  They are proud that Kids Rein is able to reach out and make a difference in the lives of children and adults with special needs – all on the back of a horse!

Kids Rein at Pattrino Farms is located at 3225 Cal Bost Road in Midland, North Carolina. Lessons and tours are by appointment only, so please contact us prior to coming out!
